    Title: Assistant Property Manager Tax Credit HUD/ADA hous

    Description of Company: Established local Real Estate Services and construction company with philanthropic arm reserved properties for US veterans thru HUD and ADA approved

    Job Duties: Assist the Property Manager in day to day duties. Generating work orders, calculating tax credit eligibility thru Veterans Affairs and other HUD programs. Answer phones and assist new tenants with move in / move out. Generate work orders for maintenance and make ready. Walking the property and overseeing staff may be required. There might be other duties as assigned. Must be able to flex between 2 properties: S Dallas: 2120 E 52nd Street and E Dallas: 2122 Highland Rd utilizing own vehicle on weekly basis, rarely at the same day. There will be long periods of standing, climbing stairs and some lifting up to 25lbs. Candidate must have own transportation and be able to produce a valid Drivers License and insurance documentation.

    Job Experience: The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of tax credit property management experience, preferably with a HUD property. Must know Appfolio. Must be able to flex between 2 properties: S Dallas: 2120 E 52nd Street and E Dallas: 2122 Highland Rd utilizing own vehicle on weekly basis, rarely at the same day. The candidate will be required to calculate and determine eligibility for tax credit/voucher program thru the HUD Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing program vouchers and other tax credit services. Candidate should have basic knowledge of the ADA and ADA compliant units. Must have strong collections and evictions knowledge. Candidate must have a strong background in leasing and property management; good tenure, understanding of time sensitive paperwork and sensitive private information.

    Title: Self Storage Assistant Manager

    Location: Grand Prairie and Plano

    Description of Company: Family owned self storage facilities with 3 locations in DFW and business partners in Germany.

    Job Duties: The candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the storage including tenant rental and providing tours of the property. Maintaining and upkeep of the property is required which includes light cleaning and janitorial work as well as basic maintenance. A friendly approach of selling units, and able to handle difficult or irate customers. This position does require cleaning of units, basic janitorial work and some maintenance work. There will be long periods of walking, standing, scooping, reaching and there may be dealings with insects such as spiders, bugs and other rodents.     Job Experience: Ideal Candidate will have a strong sales and customer service Main requirement for his position is a very strong sales and customer service background preferably within the self storage or commercial property industry. Successful record of accomplishment of sales and marketing skills in the self-storage or retail industry is preferred. Candidate should also have some experience in property maintenance and / or janitorial work as there will be cleaning of units and some maintenance required. Knowledge of basic accounting is required such as accounts payable/receivable and liens on delinquent units. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to succeed. A friendly phone voice, professional attitude and personality is required. Candidate must be able to sell in professional manner and speaks eloquently. Clean background is required. Candidate must have own reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
