    Title: Commercial / Residential Property Manager

    Location: Downtown Wichita and Newton

    Description of Company: A national developer and management group of residential and commercial properties

    Job Duties: • The ideal candidate will be managing the mix use property in Wichita as well as in Newton • Managing residential and commercial properties. Tenants in Wichita will be on the artistic, hip side while property in Newton is senior living. • There will be some traveling involved and schedule may be adjusted as needed • Day to day duties will be working with the Human Resources department as well as the Area Manager • Preparing and submitting reports on weekly and monthly basis • Setting up vendors • Accounts payable and billing, submitting payroll and bill pay. Setting up and working within set budget • Submitting work orders and overseeing maintenance department. Documentation of maintenance work orders. • Hiring and training of candidates, termination, coaching and counseling. • Submitting and updating lease agreements, rental agreements • Marketing and attending community events • Other duties as assigned

    Job Experience: • Experience in property management is required, commercial / mix use and residential property management exposure ideal. • Strong background in outstanding customer service role • Experience with budgeting and reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. • A/R and A/P experience • Strong computer skills are required • Professional appearance and outgoing personality required • Candidate must be able to accommodate both professional and residential type of tenants in a professional and courteous manner • Basic HR skills required.

    Job Duties: Candidate will be working with several maintenance managers and regional managers. Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to Regional Managers.     Job Experience: Previous experience managing a Section 8/Tax credit property is highly preferred. Candidate must be reliable reliable, consistent and firm. Strong professional presence is a must. Computer skills including Yardi is required. Marketing skills. Vendor relations and vendor set up experience. Candidate must have valid Drivers License and transportation. There will be a wage increase after 50 days.

    Job Experience: • Ideal candidate will have a strong work history of supervisory and property management roles within mobile home communities. • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively use computers. • Candidate must be Self-motivated and able to effectively work for out-of-state corporate office. • The ability to demonstrate trust and loyalty combined with a strong work ethic is needed. • Prior experience in managing a team of maintenance and office staff is required. • Spanish language is a MUST • Must have own transportation and valid Drivers License. Preferred to have a Manufactured Home Salesperson license
