Time Slips

TIME SLIP INSTRUCTIONS:

REP work weeks begin on Monday and end on Sunday. All time sheets must be completed and signed by an on-site supervisor or by someone authorized by the client. The time sheet must be received at the payroll office of REP by Tuesday of the following week. Payroll is processed from Tuesday through Thursday for the previous week so that payroll checks are available on Friday by noon. Checks are available for pick up from noon through 5:00 p.m. and if they are not picked up then the remaining checks are mailed Friday night.

We will accept FAXED time sheets ONLY IF THEY ARE SIGNED BY YOUR SUPERVISOR. Please notify us immediately if you have trouble getting your time sheet signed. In the event that you work solo or there is no one available at the end of your assignment to sign the time sheet, take a copy with you, but leave a copy behind with a note attached asking that it be signed and faxed to REP.

PROPER TIME SHEET PROCEDURE

  1. Your full name (with middle initial)
  2. Check the box, only if your address has changed
  3. Sunday's date at the end of your work week
  4. Enter time you arrived at work (round hours to nearest quarter hour)
  5. Enter time you are finished for the day
  6. Lunch time: Lunch time must be taken unless specifically authorized by your supervisor
  7. Put the total hours you worked for that day, minus your lunch
  8. Add all your hours for the week and place total here
  9. Note any overtime (Over 40 hours per week)
  10. Name of the company or the location where you are working
  11. Print your manager’s name, (the person you are reporting to)
  12. Have your supervisor sign here, (If the time sheet is not signed we can’t ensure a timely paycheck
  13. The title of your supervisor that signed the time slip
  14. Date that time sheet was completed.

IMPORTANT

  • MAIL OR FAX YOUR SIGNED TIME SLIP TO REP
  • Make a copy for your records
  • Make a copy and leave with the company you worked for

Work Hours and Overtime

CHECK IN: Please check in with your manager or point of contact upon arrival, departure and for breaks and lunches.

OVERTIME: Overtime must be pre-approved at all times.

LUNCHES: Lunches must be taken unless approved by your manager.

Paychecks

We pay weekly for assignments completed the previous week. Our week starts Monday and ends Sunday. Paychecks can be picked up every Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at these locations:

Auto Usage

You are not authorized to use your personal automobile or our client’s automobile in the course of performing any temporary position that we assign you to.

Should our client ask you to use your automobile for a task such as picking up supplies or for any other reason, please decline and ask our client to contact us regarding any questions.

You may use your automobile to travel between two locations while you are on an assignment only if you have completed our Insurance Waiver and if we have a copy of your driver’s license and insurance on file.

Keys

REP must be notified immediately if you are assigned keys while on assignment. You will be responsible for returning keys in a prompt and organized fashion. This includes coordinating key access and return details with the On-Site Manager and REP Consultant. If keys are not returned as agreed, you may be held liable.

Safety

EQUIPMENT: If you are not comfortable using or are not trained on or familiar with any equipment you are asked to work with, please call Real Estate Personnel for direction.

FIRST AID: Please ask the location of and be familiar with First Aid Kits, Fire Extinguishers, Exits.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: On Maintenance, grounds and housekeeping related positions, please bring the necessary items such as safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and steel toed boots if required. Wear the appropriate attire for the weather conditions.

If you are in need of any safety equipment, please notify REP as we may be able to make the items available.

LIFTING: Please ask for help with anything over 40 lbs or any weight you are not comfortable with. Lift with your knees.

CLOTHING & JEWELRY: Please do not wear baggy clothing and loose jewelry.

Injury

All Real Estate Personnel employees are covered under worker's compensation.

INJURY: Please notify us immediately of any injury sustained on the job even if you feel you require no medical attention.

Drug or alcohol abuse may affect eligibility for medical benefits.

Conduct

PRESENTATION: Professional, clean and pressed dress attire is required when working an assignment for Real Estate Personnel. Please ask a REP consultant as to the dress code for each position as the requirements can vary from position to position. Facial piercings and tattoos need to either be removed or covered when on assignment.

ATTITUDE: IPlease maintain a flexible, positive attitude while on assignment. You are expected to handle all interaction with co-workers and the public in a professional manner at all time.

QUESTIONS, PROBLEMS and OTHER ISSUES: If you have any questions or concerns regarding your assignment, including a dispute with a manager or co-worker, please notify REP.

CELL PHONE: Please refrain from using your cell phone during work hours while on assignment.

COMPUTER USAGE: If your assignment involves computer usage, prohibited use includes, but not limited to: surfing the net, gamming, e-mail, downloading any programs, instant messaging or using the equipment for any personal use.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL: The use of illegal drugs will be grounds for immediate termination. The use of alcohol while on assignment, (including during lunch and breaks) is strictly prohibited and may effect worker’s compensation benefits. Please note that many of our clients require drug testing prior to employment.

Absenteeism

Try to be 10 minutes early to your assignment, particularly on the first day of your assignment.

If you will be late or need to miss work, please notify Real Estate Personnel (REP) as soon as possible. If you can not complete the term of your assignment please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can find a replacement

Please keep in mind that your reliability will be taken into consideration for future assignments.

Failure to do so may effect unemployment insurance benefits.
