    Job Duties: Responsible for successful day to day management of assigned properties which involve office and some industrial buildings. Maintain physical asset, provide efficient, cost effective operation of the properties.     Title: Chief Financial Officer

    Description of Company: Provide brokerage, development, property management, investment, joint venture and other real estate advisory services to energy related organizations.

    Job Duties: • Works with the CEO and EVP to set– both short and long term financial objectives, while continuously evaluating company assets and opportunities. • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations. • Cash Management - monitor cash balances, monitor cash forecasts and invest idle cash, maintain strong banking relationships. • Management of staff accountants, develop and mentor accounting team. • The Controller will guide the company leaders to have the right resources, processes and metrics to execute their operating plans • Job Cost Analysis • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, and suggesting creative solutions. Define appropriate benchmarks, key performance indicators, and other tools for objective evaluation of asset and division performance • Monitor markets, trends and anticipates risks and opportunities • Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas • Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures • Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards • Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax and estate planning, real estate, and conservation of assets • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements • Assist in obtaining the necessary business licenses • Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with acceptable accounting standards and procedures, managing external auditing process • Shop, negotiate, and coordinate financing/refinancing activities

    Job Experience: • Master’s degree (M.A., M.S., or M.B.A.), from accredited institution preferable • CPA and 10+ year’s relevant senior leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Multifamily / Commercial real estate industry experience. • Experience leading financial strategy of an organization with multiple entities is required. • Experience with acquisitions and financing required • Experience with property management, Real Estate services and construction companies • Ability to be a good listener; able to function effectively and calmly under pressure; proactive/self-starter while recognizing when discussion and approval by CEO and/or EVP is appropriate/required • Ability to address shifting priorities; flexible, adaptable while advocating recommendations and providing alternatives • Willing and capable of engaging in thoughtful, spirited debate • Experience with Yardi Software ideal • Available for occasional travel.

    Job Duties: This position is responsible for directing sales initiatives. This person will provide leadership for certain aspects of the broker sales team including participation in strategy development, tactical implementation of agreed strategies, broker recruitment & training, broker performance management including development, budgeting and administration.     Job Experience: • 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in Commercial Real Estate: • Led a sales force for a team of commercial real estate investment agents. • Coached, recruited and trained investment real estate agents through the entire brokerage continuum. • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, results driven company with changing priorities. • Demonstrated leader of strategic planning and moving strategy into tactical execution. • Ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight time frames and at times of high expectations. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • A financially savvy and politically astute leader with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate, and guide investment in people and systems. • Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making. • Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; a persuasive negotiator able to achieve consensus amongst differing opinions. • Outstanding presentation and communication skills and the experience and proclivity to be an outgoing spokesperson and relationship builder. • Ability to monitor and anticipate trends and changes within the industry. • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively. • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage teams effectively to meet deadlines. • Demonstrated commitment to accountability and measuring outcomes. • Strong awareness/understanding of the changing technology environment and ability to assess and implement new programs (software, hardware and cloud). • Proficient skill level in Microsoft office.
